Education and Energy in India

The Ideas for India – Part 1 post by Rajesh Jain got my attention today. Rather, it reminded me of what I did on the topics of education and energy a while ago.

On education. Yes, it is a huge problem but talk is cheap. There are many aspects to it IMHO. Politicians; Money from tax-payers and world aid; Zero accountability; No infrastructure; Large numbers…

On energy. Well the situation is much better than what it used to be. Hence, people mistake that there is development in this area but the truth is that Indians have just got used to power shortages as a way of life and get around it. Of course some are annoyed but there is nothing much that one can do seems to be the consensus…
