Google SoC Comic – Aftermath

Some of you might know me as the guy who posted a wee hacked comic strip when we were all waiting for the results. I want to continue on my comic-making (now that I am “free”) and this is a request for all of you to contribute towards it.

I just want to know what each of you did after you got the email. What was your reaction? What were the exact, precise positions of your body-parts? What were your first words? When did it happen? Where were you? Who was with you? Did you dance or damage anything? What song did you sing? What were the moves you did?
Or to put it more simply, what did you do in THAT first minute having read the email (selected or otherwise)? I intend to make as many faces as I can for each of your reactions but if you want your own face cartoonified, lemme know and send a pic and I will try to do something (I have software which cartoonifies/caricatures peoples faces). You know you want to do it and all this to help a budding artist 🙂

If time permits and you are all open-minded, also let me know how hard you worked for it. How many sleepless nights were spent? And finally, how you celebrated and what happened the next day? How many hours did you sleep? Whom did you call? What were the reactions of your folk? When it rains, it pours.
Were you professed love? Did you feel a disturbance in the force? Are you he star of your University? Being given a national medal of honor?
As much or as little as you can. I wish to write an article for our University magazine on the SoC if there is something interesting and uplifting here which I think there sure is. Profile a few people, the process and the changes the SoC has made in all our lives and in other peoples lives in a few months. It is an interesting phenoemena. Please help a budding journalist.

To summarize, do share whatever you want. I have some time this weekend to put together a preliminary draft. Will make it available on this thread. I hope to see roughly, about 9000 posts here. Get posting junta…
