Liverpool to wear red in Istanbul

Milan were due to wear their usual red and black stripes after being drawn as the ‘home’ team. But the two clubs have agreed that the Italians will play in white – which they wore while beating Juventus to claim the Champions League in 2003. Liverpool’s four previous European Cup victories have come while wearing red against teams playing in white…”

As Obelix taps-tap into his head whenever he is in some different country, I have to ask, what has color got to do with it? Look at the paradox. If Liverpool win, then the red-against-white prediction becomes true. If AC Milan win, the white-to-win prediction becomes true as well. Considering that the sentiments of many people and thus, eventually, the shares of many companies could depend on this match, it is strange that colors are playing such a dominant effect in the world economy…
